PRACTICE TEE WEBCAMERAS BRING FANS IN THE SWING AT netSCOPE, Inc. has teamed up with PGA.com and Turner Sports
Interactive, to provide webcamera coverage of the 86th PGA Championship, from
Whistling Straits Golf Club in Kohler, Wisconsin. netSCOPE installed four webcameras to provide live, updating images of the practice tee area; three cameras will transmit from the Practice Tee Grandstand and one camera will face the players and the Clubhouse. Cameras will transmit live images, 24 hours a day, beginning until the event concludes on Sunday, August 15. Viewers can access Picture Galleries to view archived images from all four cameras. Images may be viewed as a thumbnail or enlarged, viewed as a slide show and e-mailed with an attached comment.
